Arts & Crafts Workshops

All workshops are designed to give participants a sense of wellbeing while involved in a creative activity, which can help boosting self-confidence and regulate difficult feelings. We emphasize the importance of the creative process rather than the expectance of a 'perfect' outcome.

There is no need for previous experience or expertise in art.

The Arts & Crafts workshops are designed to be as environmentally friendly as possible. It is a way to incorporate and value the materials we constantly throw away but could be used for other purposes and avoid more environmental pollution. The materials can be broken crockery and tiles, flowerpots, fabrics, glass jars, metal scrap, cardboard as well as natural materials such as clay pebbles, shells, dry flowers, leaves or wood.

The different workshops are designed to suit adults, children and special needs.

Maximum of eight participants per group.

WORKSHOPS EXAMPLES

Mosaic Step Stones

Round step stones covered with broken crockery and tiles. I will guide you to create your own design.

Bee Bath or Light House

You will create one of the designs above. You will learn to paint and decorate old terracotta pots and put together a three-piece tower to treat the bees or light up your garden.

Pebbles

You will learn pebble painting and create a cactus pot, sleepy owls and your own pebble scenery.

Mosaic Birds

You will learn to make your own bird shapes with clay, decorate them with broken crockery and create a final picture with paper collage and other materials.

Pressed Flower Candles

You will learn to decorated ready-made candles with pressed flowers and make your own candles with glass jars, pressed flowers and essential oils. I will supply you with a variety of pressed flowers for the creation of your own original pieces.

Scented Vegan Soaps and Wax Sachets

You will learn to create beautiful glycerine base soaps and wax sachets with a combination of essential oils, dried flowers, dried fruits and tiny shells for the creation of your own original pieces.

Terracotta Pots – Pressed Flowers

I will give you a variety of pressed flowers to choose from and guide you to create your own designs.

Terracotta Pots – Mosaic

I will give you a variety of tiles and broken crockery to choose from and guide you to create your own designs.
